Admission Policy

Eligible Categories for Admission

  • Daughters and wards of Federal Government employees.
  • Residents of Islamabad, Rawalpindi and adjoining suburbs.
  • Daughters and wards of diplomats stationed in Islamabad.
  • Reserved category seats follow the stated quota rules, including FATA/FANA and transfer cases.

HSSC admissions are invited once a year after the declaration of results by the relevant examination boards.

The minimum academic requirement for HSSC admission is 50% marks, at least second division or an equivalent grade in SSC or an equivalent examination.

  • Minimum marks are 50% in FA/FSc for BS Home Economics and 45% in FA/FSc for the ADP program.
  • Preference is given to FSc candidates and to Home Economics / Science backgrounds for BS Home Economics.
  • Applicants from boards other than FBISE must provide the required NOC and any equivalence required by IBCC.
  • There is no age limit for admission to the BS program according to the prospectus.

The prospectus also includes later entry guidance for admission into the 5th semester of BS Home Economics on the basis of ADP or equivalent Home Economics study.
